We will continue to allow new members joining in January, February or March before the April 1st renewal, to pay the £15 and will qualify for 13, 14 or 15-months membership for their first year.

Obtaining a Membership Form
For the year 2026/2027 we have the following procedure. All new members are required to complete a Membership Application form giving your personal details and preferences.
- Paper copies of the forms will be available at our General Meetings.
- Forms can also be downloaded and displayed for printing by clicking the link: Membership Application form
The forms are single-sided A4 size pages as a PDF so should display and print on most devices and printers. See also READING AND PRINTING PDF FILES
Paying for your Membership
You have a few options to pay:
- Bring your completed membership form and your payment (Cash or Cheque made payable to Stanford-Le-Hope and District u3a (or pay using your debit or credit card) at any General Meeting and join instantly with the Membership Secretary. A membership card should be available to you.
- Use our Bank Transfer facility to pay for your subscription, the amount specified on the form. Please tick the Bank Transfer box on the form and notify the Treasurer. See Paying by Bank Transfer. You can scan or copy your completed application form and email it to the Membership secretary. Details at the bottom of the form. A membership card should be available to you at the next General Meeting.
- Again using the Bank Transfer facility to pay, the Membership Secretary will be at General Meetings so you can pass completed forms to them. A membership card should be available to you. You can post or deliver the completed form to the Membership Secretary, whose address is at the bottom of the form. If you require a membership card, please enclose a S.A.E. with your form, otherwise collect at a General Meeting.
- You can post or deliver the completed form with a cheque if appropriate (No cash please) to the Membership Secretary whose address is at the bottom of the form. Cheques to be made payable to Stanford-Le-Hope and District u3a. If you require a membership card, please enclose a S.A.E. with your form, otherwise collect at a General Meeting.
Membership covers the period from April 1st to March 31st the following year.
Membership is open to anyone in their Third Age and NOT in full-time employment.
As a member, you may join any number of Interest Groups, provided there is space available. Full details of our Groups are available, with the Group Leader contact details, on the GROUPS tab at the top of the page of this website.
