https://siteworks.u3a.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/guitar.png Madeline Beesley is the leader of the Ukulele (UKE3A) group. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at two different venues.
1st Monday of the month at Corringham Community Church Hall in Fobbing Road from 2-4pm
3rd Monday of the month at Thameside Nature Reserve at Mucking from 2-4pm.
On the 1st Monday of the month, as there is much more room in the Church Hall, we welcome any new ukulele players to join us and to play along with us or just improve their playing. I am not a teacher, but run the group. We are mostly beginners or intermediate players. Fortunately for most of us, we were not required to be able to read music.
It would be great if any more experienced players wish to join us or if you own a ukulele and fancy a strum, please come along, and we could all learn together. With a few tips from our “resident professional” Terry, we could be worth listening to in a few years time.
If you are interested in joining us for a strum, please do get in touch.
