Ramble Shoeburyness to Leigh On Sea Thursday 24th September We have done this a few times now and it's been proven to be a great success.
We will meet on the platform at Stanford-Le-Hope Station in time to catch the 10.30. train to Shoeburyness where we hope to arrive by 11:07. Alternatively this same train stops in Grays at 10:17 We will aim to start the walk by 11:10 should you wish to join us at Shoeburyness.
This is a four and a half mile mostly flat walk that follows the coast from Shoeburyness to Southend via Thorpe Bay.
Once in Southend I'm suggesting that we find somewhere suitable for lunch and a drink before heading back home from Southend station.
