The first day of Spring 2024 was the day before our March amble. The weather was lovely, it was sunny and warm, no wind and we all felt a bit overdressed in our winter coats.

It was a very pleasant walk at Coalhouse Fort and afterwards we sat outside drinking teas and coffees. I don't know if any amblers succumbed to the lure of the delicious looking cakes in the tearoom, they were very tempting.
