General Meeting on Thursday 9th April 2026
Our speaker is Peggy Griffin.
Peggy will be speaking about, “The Essex Witch Trials”.
Over 700 people were accused of witchcraft, in Essex, between 1560 and 1675. More than any other county. Why? A woman could easily be accused of the dark arts merely by owning a cat. Peggy will make this serious subject both interesting and humorous.
Please ensure we have an ICE (In Case of Emergency) number for you on our records.
