Our speaker for Thursday 13th November 2025 is Andy Thomas talking about, “The Crop Circle Mystery”. Using a stunning slideshow, Andy explores the extraordinary and controversial phenomenon of crop circles, looking at their fascinating history and discussing possible theories which might explain them.
We are pleased to advise that Sue Moss and Sue Dunn have offered to take on the trips mantle from Chris Gomm and Jean Jardine. The committee has agreed to this and 'The Sues' are already considering a trip which will go on Sale at our general meeting on Thursday 11th December. The trip will take place in February 2026.
Details will be announced at our next general meeting on Thursday 13th November and via the Advance Notice.
We are reviewing the membership renewals process to try and make it less time consuming at general meetings and easier for all involved. Membership renewal forms are being reviewed. They will be printed and available at general meetings from Thursday 11th December, as well as with the Advance Notice and for download from our website.
STANFORD-le-HOPE and DISTRICT u3a – SUGGESTION / FEEDBACK Box -Committee Member Jean Angus is now responsible for the SUGGESTION /FEEDBACK Box and it is kept on the back table near the exit door at the back of the hall in the Springhouse Club.
A FEW SPACES ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR THE HOLIDAY AND THE CHRISTMAS MEAL.
