Davy Down Riverside Walk - Thursday 19th November

I apologise for bringing this month's walk forward by a week. This is due to other commitments taking place.

It's is a fairly flat and easy walk along the Mardyke Valley taking in Brannett's Wood, which is one of the oldest surviving woodlands in Essex.

We will meet at the Davy Down Car Park, Back Lane (off Pilgrims Lane) North Stifford RM16 5UL at 10:30 on Thursday 19th November for this interesting walk with a mix of Woodland and Pathway passing over the Mardyke and with lovely views of the Railway Viaduct in front of us.

For those that would like to join us for refreshments I'd propose going to The Dog and Partridge in North Stifford where we can find lunch and refreshments at the end of our walk. If you do join us there, travelling by car,  please be sure to register your car at the bar.
